My name is Francesca Colombara.
I'm an comic artist and 2d animator based in Italy.
In 2021 I graduated in Comics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.

I'm the co-founder of CIANG studio, a 2d animation studio. CIANG creates animated music videos, commercials and experimental short films.

My music video "MARTE" and "I Gotta Cry"  have been selected at many international festivals.

I collaborated with: Giphy, Fx Cake, A Studio Digital, Tesco, Movimenti Production and Editoriale Domani.

In 2021 I won the animation residence "Air Lovere" during Corto Lovere Film Fest, organised by the Bozzetto animation studio.

In 2023 CIANG has been selected for "NU'VEM"  artist residency on the Pico island in the azores, organised by FREESAM. 

My graphic novel "Panic!" has been published by Centrala.
